I was looking for a way to add extra cargo lighting to my bronco. I ran across this diy write up on how to do it for a 4 door. it uses a large 38 inch led bar that is pretty cheap from amazon and it can plug right into the 12 volt ac outlet. here is a link to that very nice write up.

I liked the idea and so I ordered the light bar and went to install it. I was not super fond of plugging it into the 12 volt outlet and just leaving it there. I found the option wild horses sells works the same way so I decided to use the plug and play wiring harness that used Ksjrb03

the only problem was that the 4 door that the people in the video and the author of that write up used was a 4 door and the nice access panel they used to reach the wiring harness is not present on the 2 door.
I discovered after a bit of investigating that it is not too difficult to pop the rear dome light out it is held in by 2 little metal clips and you can wedge a screwdriver in from the top of the quarter panel and pry gently on the front with another and pop it out. that gave me enough room to access the 12 volt wiring and plug in the wiring harness. then I installed a small unobtrusive switch and voila I have light in the back of my bronco. here is a link to some of the products I used, and a video of what it looks like.
