Put a 2" lift on my OBX SAS with same stock tires, and noticed on the drive home that it was much louder. The next day my wife said the same thing, without me saying anything about it.

First lifted vehicle I have had. Is it louder because there is more space between the tire and wheel well, so sound escapes more? I guess I didn't even think about it being louder, its a pretty big difference.

Tried to search these forums and the google machine, couldn't find anything related.

Did you get an alignment after the lift?

This could also be a wind issue. More wind could be channeled under the vehicle or more air turbulence could be occurring.

Yes, and he went back to fine tune it too. Rides straight.

Wind, air, etc is only thing I can think of.

A lift changes the aerodynamics of the vehicle. It will be louder and you will lose MPG's.
