AIR Design Fenders Flares with width measurements

So I tried to get as close as I could, I adjusted the color on the one photo to brighten it up for better visibility

Definitely curves into the body. SAS flares do not

That is the Gobi Roof Rack on my soft top

I'm assuming since the new flares are about 1" lower at the top due to the mounting area is flat and then the flare starts vs the oem flare top is above the mounting area and the lip of the new flares are shallower that the clearance is about the same? If you can make sense of that.

That "flat area" above the fender is sits higher than the standard flare, it covers the little flat area above the standard flare on the fender. (No Sas Fender Fare attached)

I am assuming, from what I have read they say I do, but I am not sure compared to the Sas Fenders, but compared to Non Sas Fender, I know I do.

I'm in the hunt for either SAS flares or something like these to cover my 4.5" poke. Are these flares as sturdy as oem?
