Anyone have a head on view of Broncos with the two different flares?

(Which is a polite way of saying this thread is useless without pics!) :)

Ok gravel truck. How about a regular truck and person who pings for it denies it? He said she said. Which is far more likely to occur. What then? Maybe in your country of California they peg someone to pay regardless of innocence if pegged. But in the rest of the US, that crap wonā€™t fly.

Plastic doesnā€™t constitute common courtesy. Thatā€™s pure unadulterated stupidity right there....

thatā€™s like me deciding Iā€™m gonna drive around without a bumper. I guess itā€™s common courtesy to have a bumper so incase I hit someone my bumper will take the shock? šŸ¤£
Jeez are you ok? Weā€™re you loved as a child? Or did you grow up living under a bridge.

I have no comments for or against but here is a video from another member.
Sasquatch with small flares. Judge for yourselves and please play nice.

Gearing. Getting the 2.7 auto. It's $1500.00 more for the Sasquatch on the BL. Gearing would be more than that post sale. A lot of guys think gearing is not a major item to consider.
Its not an issue on the Badlands which is the model being discussed. On a Badlands with MT , gearing is 4.7 Don't need to regear. On a Badlands without MT, it's 4.46, which can comfortably run 35s, have no issues on the street and the Auto TQ converter will make this work offroad.

Thanks for posting this.

I didn't feel like going into a detailed explanation last night. I figured I would watch something with less drama than this post and turned on Trailer Park Boys. It was comically appropriate for multiple reasons.

I have the same experience and never had any damage done to the paint on my jeep from "Too Skinny Flares" .
In this picture, you can see my door is perfect. You can even see that I dented and repainted the area just in front of the door while rock crawling. I slid over that rock. it was larger than my tire and not thrown. You get muddy but you don't chip paint with flares 1-3" skinnier than your tread width

And now let's look at how well the proper sized flares work on the Bronco.

If this bothers you, the only way you are going to prevent it is by installing Large Mud Flaps.

This PSA brought to you by 2 people that have Actual Real World Experience.

The rest of you Virtue signalling, fake outrage and internet tough guys can go back to flexing on the mall Spreadbumps while drinking your lattes.

Don't forget this for when you get home

No biggie. Just thought you were in the same boat as me as for as not leased with certain aspects of the vehicle. Overall it's been great and I wish I could field both in a way. Too many, not enough garage.
Also I do not have the 2WD version

It seems clear that the Sas flares actually extend beyond the tires. I think I'm going to swap my Sas flares for regular flares on the Badlands. I think it will look better. Cool thing is I'll be able to swap back and forth on a whim... or even run naked! :D

Just saw this video in another thread, looks like even the sas flares wonā€™t help all the kickback
