First off, I'd just like to say thanks to bronco6g forum member "TheHeroFails" whose extremely informative and detailed post "Adding interior LED ambient lighting" was definitely one of the best posts I've ever seen. I am highly considering using his instructions to add aftermarket ambient footwell lighting.
My question is this: is it possible to disconnect the wires to the two small footwell lights in the front seats included on certain trims and use those wires to power aftermarket options?
Or is there a benefit to using the theherofails instructions. If you are out there HeroFails, I'd sure love your personal opinion.
