Agreed on the bold, I wish the A10 in my F150 had half the refinement of the A8 in my JL....
The 10r80 in your f-150 is even worse than 10r60 in the bronco. Atleast in my raptor it was horrible. Weird thing is GM and ford co-developed the trans, so essentially they’re the same. The 10 speed in my GMC is buttery smooth.

Yeah, from what I've read (and experience) Ford should have hired GM's trans programmers.

My rear main is seeping just a tablespoon over a month. In true Ford fashion, the tech just says, "It'll clear up sometime". Owned Toyotas the last 14 years and the first Ford since '93. The lack of overall quality control and Ford's "stick head in the sand on an obvious issue" just drives me nuts.

I looked at a Jeep, Bronco and Defender. Defender is too unreliable to own out of warranty. I also looked at Jeeps. I went with the Bronco when I found one that was loaded. In a month, I have put 3k miles on my Bronco OBX SAS and driven it across country. I absolutely love it. I looked at Jeeps. They have issues with paint bubbling, electronic things, etc. However the biggest issue was the driving experience. The steering is loose.

When I turned the wheel, I felt like the jeep looked at the input as more of a suggestion then a command. Offloading they are awesome. But for me Broncos are superior in the interior, and a leaking seal would not be enough to buy a jeep.

I agree with all of this.
And my First Edition rear main seal is leaking. Stuff happens. Every vehicle has there idiosyncrasies. Should be fixed with warranty and I will move on, hopefully😁

If this were the only issue I've had so far then yeah I'd agree, not enough to get rid of it. Driveshafts already been replaced, the hood/window cowl is being replaced, one of the rear defroster connections broke off and it's being fixed, and a couple other small things almost not worth mentioning except for the fact that the closest Ford dealership is 75 minutes away, one way. Closest cdjr dealer is 12 mins away.

Hello, Tor! This rear main seal concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Bronco. If you are still needing assistance regarding this concern, I'd be more than happy to see what I can do to further help. Just shoot us a PM with your VIN and dealer name/location, and I'll get right on it. To send a private message, just click on our username and select "Start Conversation". Thank you!

So dealer picked up on Tuesday, dropped off on Wednesday afternoon, with no call or any info. Slip in car. Went to move it tonight and guess what.
Check engine light is on!

Ok, so I assume a sensor is unplugged. So put it on my lift.
Cant see anything unhooked but did see this senor cable supper tight and looks like it should go in this clip

Looks like that wire is ripping out of the sensor. On the other side the cable on the sensor looks, not right.

So now i have to decide to I just go in the morning an drop off or call and set something up.
What really sucks is I am leading a trail ride on Saturday, was going to use her for it.
