Having issues currently uploading pics but it's another rear main seal failure and now it sits in the shop until late January early February. This is my second Ford Performance ecoboost product that's had motor issues, the first being an 18 raptor that needed a new long block at 45k. Is @Ford going to somehow compensate me for this thing sitting in a shop for 6-8 weeks? I love the bronco community but this has me eyeing a local Rubicon 392.

I think here in KY it's only 12 months for lemon law

Hint: the 392s are amazing.

Good afternoon. Would you please send over a private message with your VIN and dealer info so I can look into this leak concern on my end? Thank you!

Just got the call from the dealer as well. Rear main seal is leaking. Need to order parts but they are giving it back and going to schedule in January when the get the parts and after the holidays. Hoping the thrust bearing is not shot and causing this. They said they will see when they tear it apart. Said it will be a two day job.

I asked them if I could drive it till they could get it in, I'd just hate for it to get worse when my closest dealer is an hour away. They said they'd get back to me and let me know... luckily this isn't my only vehicle so I'm not totally s.o.l.

They drive so terribly though.
Kinda off topic but funny you say that. This past Sunday I helped a friend move. He drove his Land Cruiser with a trailer and I followed in his '21 Rubicon. You forget how epically shitty Wranglers are to drive. 3 hrs is miserable in a Jeep and it makes the me appreciate how comfortable and enjoyable a Bronco is in comparison. Power (not judging against a 392 obviously) and smooth shifting are far superior. As long it is not in the shop of course. Though according to CR chances are much higher your Jeep will be in the shop.

I honestly disliked the Bilsteins so much that I swapped them out for adjustable ADS shocks. It was either that or sell the bronco... maybe it's my old man back but after 6 or so hours of driving I felt like I fell down a flight of stairs. If the suspension in a wrangler is that bad I could always swap in new coilovers.

I guess that’s why we test drive and research. Everyones mileage will vary. Never knew I disliked my Jeep until I had my Bronco. Also had a 2020 4Runner in between and while I loved the idea of the reliability it was just boring and beyond that extremely uncomfortable for me beyond an hour. Bronco seats keep me comfortable for 8+ hrs.

lol I’ll never forget how shitty they are. I picked my wife’s 392 up outside of Philly and drove it 9 hours back to Indiana. I really never drove it much after that always opting for my truck or bronco. I have to disagree on the trans, the 10 speed in the Bronco is a big POS compared to the 8 speed in the wrangler.

Yeah 4 runners are pretty boring but I still love them from afar 🤣. It's always possible I've got crummy seats 🤷🏻‍♂️ the mgv ones in mine don't feel as nice as others. The seats in my 18 raptor and 21 TRX don't give me any issues if I drive from here to Texas so who knows.

Agreed on the bold, I wish the A10 in my F150 had half the refinement of the A8 in my JL....
