So with a June 15th/20' order for a Wildtrack/Sas/Mid/Mod/tow, do they push these out so we never see them? In my own business, prices have jumped 40% in the past year. I'm assuming Ford has also seen this escalation in pricing. So, if they have committed to MSRP in 20', my hunch is that no one who placed an order then is getting their Bronco for that price.

So to avoid drama, send them to Dealers at way above MSRP in 20' and let them get first digs and whomever is willing to shell out 10-20% over msrp.

I'm not sure if I'm correctly interpreting your theory.

It sounds like what your saying is that Ford doesn't want to deal with upset customers who are angry about being charged more than MSRP by their dealerships, so their strategy to avoid that drama is to perpetually delay completing customer orders until pricing returns to normal?

Wut?

Your year abbreviation is really confusing. You ordered in 20', Ford guaranteed MSRP in 20', but only dealers will get Broncos in 20'???

Besides that, literally thousand of people have had their order pulled and/or taken delivery of Broncos this year. So I got no idea what you are trying to say.

What does this mean? Ford is not setting the markups. Individual dealers are doing that.

I’m only 50% sure I understand what you are saying, but I think it’s the opposite. It would be in Ford’s best interest to ship the early ordered wildtracks as soon as possible since they are price protected and have the highest inflation impact.

Correct. And pricing will never return to normal. My hunch is that no early reservations get honored at MSRP pricing. Ie no price protection at all.

They guaranteed it for how long, through 23? Could push them to 24 if you're a conspiracy person

I can't reconcile the logic of stopping customer deliveries in a bid to avoid drama due to the fact that failing to ever complete these builds, in itself, creates angry customers and drama.

This would be the equivalent of trying to put out a fire by pouring gasoline on it.

What are you drinking? Bad Russian vodka? Prove your order date that you have showing a year before introduction and a year and a half before order banks opened. Or go back to Sport forum

Even a dealer, let alone customer, could have ordered a Bronco a month before it's reveal. 7/13/20. And at reveal all you could place, for $100, was a non binding reservation. Order banks opened on or about 1/31/21. For 2021 models. There never was a 2020, despite the slim possibilities.

There was a cutoff date. If you actually placed an order before the cutoff date you are price protected through the 2023 model year for equal specs. It does not mean MSRP cannot change, it just means you get an up front credit equal to price increase. They can't have MY 22 or 23 units running around with window stickers less than other exact units.
