Hi all....was under my rig this morning just giving a thorough cleaning after some off-roading this past weekend. I noticed near the front passenger control arm/suspension, this piece of black plastic...it's only secured by push pins.

But I noticed it's missing on the drivers' side.....either I never had it, or it got knocked off this weekend while off-roading (I did have a few serious trails where my skid plates got a work out).

Anybody know what this is and the purpose of it?

Where is the oil filter or oil drain plug? My infiniti has something similar that helps route the oil to a central location when draining it so it doesn't splash all over the frame and make a huge mess. I dont' have my Bronco, so I am guessing here...

Nah, I don't think that's it...I've done one oil change myself already.

Has to be an oil drip diverter. I have a similar one on just the left side, under my filter (2.3).

well, maybe it's some kind of diverter....I did an oil change at 500 miles, I don't remember the pan being that far over to the pax side, but I'll have another look.

Looks similar to the oil diverter but it's not, so I'm thinking it channels something else away. AC condensation maybe?

Well, thanks to @flip, I know that, whatever it is, it's only supposed to be on the pax side.
