Anyone Installed a Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver?

Has anyone actually installed a front receiver on their 6G Bronco? I've seen portable winch platforms for rear receivers and just wondered if it could be made to work in front. Thanks.

I've been hoping for a high and tight style front bumper with a 2" receiver to come out commercially, but it's looking more like a DIY situation.

Yep, my custom winch mount has two 2" receivers, Factor 55 shackle mounts or a ball mount fit. Lots of reinforcement behind the frame horns.

You could forgo the winch on top and build a double receiver removable winch plate. This would be a lot stronger for side loads than a single mount

I would LOVE for someone to make a 2” hitch that is a direct replacement from the front shackle mounts on the modular bumper.

I had one fabricated with a vertical 2” receiver to hold my winch. Bolts on to the steel bumper recovery points.

This is a great setup. I would like to have a winch part time not full time. I wish someone would sell something similar. I think that there would be a market for it. Keeping the stock bumper is a big plus too.

I had a crazy idea and I found a crazy enough fabricator to make it into metal. Not inexpensive, but not another one like it.

Great design and execution. Looks professional. If I ever get a Bronco I may eventually look into something like this.

Looks great. I would worry about my airflow to the lower intercooler and I have that ADD thing down there, can’t block bottom.
