Anyone who has done business with Factory-Manuals? I placed an order for a bronco service manual, this site said they would provide a PDF from 24-48 hours, been 10 days now. I have sent emails and called, no response.

I have bought a refrigerator service manual from them before, and didn't have any issues. But that was a one-time thing several years ago.

EDIT— I lied apparently... checked my email history from 6 years ago. The refrigerator manual came from service-manuals.com (which seems to not exist anymore), not factory-manuals.com.

For my Ford vehicles, I buy all of my manuals from Helm, which is Ford's officially recommended source:

https://www.helminc.com
Well, they only provide via a CD.

Well, they only provide via a CD.
Helm also provides USB on almost all their materials.

CD's shouldn't be a problem.
So many DVD/CD external reader options out there for computers, phones and printers.
What are your restrictions that you can't use a CD?

You don't have a friend with a printer?

Ah, gotcha—you're looking for paper.

Ford don't produce paper versions of service manuals anymore, just an FYI. They haven’t for awhile.

Not sure what that company (or any other company) is going to do to get you a paper copy... I imagine they are just going on Ford's website and hitting print on every page.
Nope, actually downloadable PDF would be best. I haven’t had a CD or DVD in over 15 years.

Oh, gotcha.

What a lot of people have done is pay for a 72 hour subscription to the service manual, then spend the day going through each page and printing it to a PDF file.

I actually have full access to the Motorcraft service manuals (for now, anyway, father is retired Ford employee and I assume he'll lose that access someday). But personally I just ordered the CD from Helm for offline access. Created a ISO image from that CD, and then that image just sits on my desktop. I can mount it whenever I want to launch the software.

Exactly. Even people that do NOT have a CD reader usually have a friend/relative/library/etc with one and then can create an ISO for subsequent processing however they see fit.

Concur. I like the search feature on pdf's for both the owner's and service manuals. Seems like with the large # of pages they are these days, the organization isn't as good as years past... Search feature is a godsend!
