Just OK in the rain? I've heard they are one of the better AT tires for wet road traction.Fantastic tires! Pretty quiet, look great, ok in rain great in snow/mud. Here is stock before the c/o swap for reference.
Probably being modest. They are pretty good, part of it was 2A too in heavy rain.Just OK in the rain? I've heard they are one of the better AT tires for wet road traction.
Do you have any life or crash bar removed with this setup?I have Falken Rubritreks, very similar to Wildpeaks, but a bit cheaper. I used 265/70x17 which is theoretically 1/2" wider but measures 1 1/2" wider same height, looks great, I am partial to this size. Think it's just right. I think you can easily fit up to a 285/70x17 and some might consider 275/70x17 ideal, 1" wider (in theory) and 1/2" taller than stock.
Everyone here is right that you can go bigger. If you want to stick with stock size check the Toyo Open County AT3. They ride great on my OBX.Wondering what size you put on as it doesn't appear they come in 255 75 17's?
No lift or cb Removal. These are the same size as stock on a Black Diamond. I am going to lift for belly clearance not tire reasons. Like many have said, you can go to 285/70x17 without modification, I'm just not a large tire guy.Do you have any life or crash bar removed with this setup?
Do you have steelies or the optional wheels? wondering if that size will fir on either with no lift or removing bars.Wildpeak AT3s are on my short list. Plan to run 285/75-17 on my Black Diamond. No lift or level.
I have the optional wheels. But they are the same size as the steelies. And it was a typo. I meant 285/70-17. But I have seen people fit 285/75-17 with no lift or level. I believe one removed the crash bars but said it really wasn't necessary.Do you have steelies or the optional wheels? wondering if that size will fir on either with no lift or removing bars.
Gotcha. I have 4A to deal with wet roads too.Probably being modest. They are pretty good, part of it was 2A too in heavy rain.
