Anyone taken delivery where Ford complied with customer request to not install front plate bracket?

Obviously states without front plate don’t apply. I’ve seen a lot of front plate brackets installed on customer cars but probably because the customer didn’t specifically ask to not have it installed

NJ requires front plate and I put in a request for them to not be mounted.

Just curious if they will actually comply with that request

Do we know if ford is shipping all Broncos without the front plate regardless of the state they are being shipped to? If so then it would boil down to my dealer following through with my request.

As far as I know the dealership installs them.

Texas is a front plate state, and I know a lot of dealers will leave it off if you ask and explain that you have your own bracket. They’re not required to install it, just give you the ability to do so, at least in Texas.

My dealer was in Nevada and I live in AZ which does not require a front plate. The dealer had the bracket in a plastic bag from the factory and told me it is a dealer installed option. They did not install it.

My dealership is well aware of not drilling my front plate bracket. My guy agreed to repair it if it was drilled so he's making sure it doesn't happen. He knows i have a No Drill bracket for it.

Front plate is required in California, I asked the dealer Not to install it, they said no guarantees, but they will try.

Mine did...no problem. Told them i dont want them drilling into my HDBumper, and that I had an alternate plate mount location. No problem-o.

I completely forgot about the front plate location before I went to my dealer (Covert Ford Hutto TX) but they left it off, no questions or hassle. Tossed it in the trunk and got the Built Right custom mount!

In NY they delivered the bracket with the vehicle but dealer installs…told my dealer not to nstall and the said no problem

I asked to not have my front bracket installed and the dealership obliged; told them I’d bought an aftermarket bracket and they put the factory one on the floor behind the front seat for me.

We requested that ours not be installed and they honored our request. By our state law, we are required to have one in front. We just kept in the front seat until we mounted it where we wanted it. (Not even in the window, just had it handy lol)

My dealership was fantastic about not installing the front plate bracket upon my request. No questions and no further discussion.

I went with the KR Offroad bracket for compliance in Virginia, purchased from a forum member. No drilling required and went on in minutes. Will remove once I complete my move to Tennessee next year.

Mine wasn’t installed and I never saw it if it came with it.

I had arranged to have the Ford front plate kit left off, reminded the dealer once it was on a train for delivery and again on the day my dealer called to notify me my bronco was arriving. They pulled the plate kit out and kept it. I partially installed my relocation kit and brought the rest of the parts the day I picked up my plates and installed it myself.
