I would find out what a replacement hardtop is from dealer before I would put it up for sale. Who knows if Ford might offer just a 2 door soft top before model change in a few years. Find a friend that has the space to store top.

As you said most people want the hard top. Think of re-sale in a few years, the next person will probably want the hard top. If you have a place to store it, just keep it....
