Installed the APG Bronco Adjustable Lower Links this past weekend. Super easy instal to complete. They provide new bolts so you can cut the passenger side bolt without having to drop the gas tank. You’ll need a low profile T25 torx to loosen a plate that shields the tank by the passenger side bolt/nut. I cut the bolt out with a Milwaukee reciprocating saw. Make sure you have a good 6” blade and it’ll make for an easy job. Got the holes lined up by using a tie down strap from the rear axle to the frame.

The uppers will require the gas tank to be removed not the lowers. Still running the stock uppers?

The front passenger side bolt on the lower can’t back out without dropping the tank or cutting the bolt. Still running the stock rear uppers. I’ve read that it’s not worth the upgrade on the uppers. Maybe down the road I will!

How were you able to bolt the passenger arm back in? Does it have a captive nut or is there room to slide a new nut and wrench in?

New bolt fed in from the passenger side and there’s enough space to fit the nut between the heat shield. I’ll snap a photo in the morning and post it.

Got mine installed the other day also, mine didn't come with new bolts, I ended up dropping the tank because I was installing Foutz lower arm skids also. Dropping the tank is super easy on the bronco imo.

Only regret is I feel like I should have gotten the polished and cleared version like you, I already have a few chips in the powder coat from installing.

I really like those skids! That’s good to know it’s not difficult to drop the tank. I guess it’s sounds worse that it actually is.

Here’s a photo from the rear axle on the pass side.
