Thank you for doing this! Very curious about dead cold test as well; the delta between compressor operating alone vs all other heat generators is what I want to know.
Did you happen to get a base number of the compressor running when everything else is cool to compare with? This seems high, but without reference i dont know weather to look for another solution or just let things cool down first.

I was shocked at how hot the compressor gets just being under the hood. I mounted mine one day and didn't connect it electrically until the following day.

After running some errands I opened the hood and the compressor was too hot to touch. I know it wasn't running cause it wasn't connected.

I'm running the KR mount.

That's why ARB designs their compressors to take some big time abuse. They run them down in Australia in all sorts of locations and test their compressors at VERY high temperatures to ensure they survive/last.
