Since it’s near impossible to take a test drive. I ask those with the 2.3 are you happy with it? Enough power for a 4door? Enough to pull a small boat with ease. If I were to get a Bronco it would be used at sea level. No mountains here.
Currently have a 3600lb Maverick with the 2.0 and a Bronco Sport with the 1.5. Maverick is great with the 2.0 and 1.5 is plenty acceptable.
Thanks.

The 2.3 has been great. By far exceeded expectations.

I have a 2 door Badlands with Sasquatch, LUX, Leather, and the automatic. The vehicle was modified at the dealership with a leveling kit, flares, hood scoop, and a ridiculously heavy wheel/tire combination (about 110# per before I replaced them at the 5000 mile mark.)

Im currently at about 6400 miles. Lifetime fuel efficiency is at 20.1 over a combination of interstate, secondary, back roads, trails, and “WTF are you thinking” mountain passes. The 2.3 moves it with ease. Plenty of power and torque.

I shared the same concern as you before buying but it went away as soon as I hit the road for the 2000 mile drive home.

Very pleased. 4d big bend with 4.27 w/rear locker.

people forget that a stock EcoBoost 2.3L on 91 has more power than any previous Bronco ever released.

We have both in our house other than piss poor fuel economy (tough to get 16mpg on the freeway, usually 13-14 in town. )the 2.3 has been great. It seems to be programmed better for off the line acceleration than the 2.7. We have the 4.27 gears and rear locker as well. Getting on the freeway or heavy acceleration midrange is where I can tell the difference between the two. Ours has a 3 1/2” lift and 35” tires and still does well. I drove one with 3.73 and 35” tires and it was a bit doggy. The 4.27 help and can only image the 4.46 or 4.7 would be really good. If I were ever to order another bronco it would be a 2.3 Badlands.

No concern at all. I'll be reordering with a 2.3L. It is downright twerky on the torque. Acceleration is surprising especially with the turbo. I find myself having to dial back my driving style as it is too easy to scoot and find myself driving faster than I normally would. I wouldn't even consider adding the extra weight that the 2.7L entails to an already heavy rig.

I love my 2.3. One is a 4 door BD w Sas auto transmission and it hums right along, plenty of power… 2nd is a 2 door base w a manual and it’s a complete blast to drive! The 2.3 really is a great match to either 2 or 4 door and I’ve been really happy with it.

I've had the 2.3L since middle of July and it has been great. I do mainly drive in sport mode though because I prefer those shift points. I average about 19.5-21.5 depending on mainly highway or mainly city.

I had 2021 Bronco sport with the 1.5L and the 2.3L is so much better. I really didn't like the 1.5L. Then again before get the 1.5L I had a 2015 Mustang GT, so my opinion of the 1.5L may be skewed. haha.

Driven both motors and own a 2.3. Never think twice about the motor performance.

At one point I was considering changing my 4 door Badlands non squatch build from the big engine to the small. This has me considering it again.

Very happy with my 2.3. Have not regretted skipping the 2.7 on my BD with adv 4x4.

2.3 was the only option with 7MT and manual transmission was more important to me than anything else. I can honestly say the 2.3 paired with the 7mt in a 2 door with 4.7 gears is actually fun to drive, acceleration is good. If Ford ever releases a tune it will be even better.
