Didn't see it posted here, so I'll say, do what the people on the ranger forums do. Buy a nightlight and keep it plugged in. Price maybe 5 bucks? As stated earlier, ASS won't activate if there is a power drain.

Red hot turbos getting suddenly shut down at every light is one good reason to disable it. The jittery starting irritation is another. Wearing out the starter is another. I could think of about 10 more reasons I don't want to ruin my vehicle or have less safety just so people can feel more "green" by getting 0.3 MPG better.

What I find interesting is the Ranger guys seem to have the stance its a not wear issue, just an annoyance issue. I can't really find anything on a widespread problem. Everyone gets to do what they want with their truck/Bronco/Mustang, but this seems like analogies from earlier year cars.

Guess I will find out on the Tremor if I am wrong. :rolleyes:
