Automatic Shift Lever Question

Hey automatic owners... does your shift lever have a button that folds the lever down into the centre consul? I'm in an F150 at the moment, and it does, which I assume is more for teens and college kids heading out to Bad Decisions Pointe.

Anywho, my Bronco is a manual, and I know that the auto shifter doesn't connect to the transmission, but it's kinda cool.

That is a feature specific to the F150, for those who use their pickup as a mobile office to allow you to put laptop, clipboard, etc on a flat surface.

The Bronco shifter is connected to the transmission. Unlike most newer Ford transmissions which are shift by wire, the bronco still uses an actual shift cable.
