about to take advantage of a slight sale and I know there are a few that have done it but it just checking to see if anyone has any reason why this is a bad idea without a lift. I know someone has the exact same thing but I believe we have different engines and just want to make sure there isn't a difference so I can assure the wife she won't have an issue driving it home (Im overseas at the moment). I have a set of 5 takeoffs from a badlands to replace the base wheels

From what I have read up in here, that's the biggest size you can put on without more modifications. But it is what I've read, not a personal experience...

I have that same tire size on my Base. No lift, but with the 2.3L. You will be fine. There is no rubbing at full turn and it doesn't bottom out when going off-road either. The engine size doesn't matter.
