Best sound settings for B&O lux package.

Stereo or surround?

Fade location?

Speed compensation of off, low, medium, or high?

Treble, midrange, and bass settings?

Where do I place all of these to get the best sound? I’m stoopid.

I haven’t found a good all around setting. I’m finding myself adjusting the equalizer depending on what I’m listening to.

I’m suprised the “premium” audio only has treble, mid, and bass adjustments and zero preset equalizers.

I ran a frequency sweep with a sound meter with surround on. It was a “U” profile which confirmed what I thought I was hearing. From middle/neutral settings I decreased treble, increased midrange and decreased bass. Much flatter response now.

As far as fade I have it set so I can barely hear it, just enough for surround effect. I just left speed compensation on medium, not a big deal to me.

I second this, have very similar settings and find it to be the best all around solution.

Interesting, my settings are almost exactly opposite with boosted bass and treble and lowered midrange…the last thing I want is a flat sound!
I think the B&O sounds great!

Let me dictate. First, you get aggravated with the sound quality of your stereo. So, you punch the screen. You realize it doesn’t do any good. So, you rip it out of your vehicle, bag it up and carry it to the garbage. Then, install new!

Me, too. It is so..."bright". I have the treble and mid range all the way to zero.

I am satisfied with the B&O sound. Sitting here reading this and adjusting to my preferred sound. So much depends on the type of music. This is the setting (without a sub installed) that sounds the best to me.
