I have a Big bend 4 door hard top with the 255 75 R17 base wheel/tires and the 3.73 axle. I am looking into upsizing the tire and installing the 2” rough rider spacer package and have a few questions:
Is it OK to upsize to a 285 70 r17 with the 3.37 ratio? Would I need to reflash the trans?
If I upsize, is the lift kit required? Does installation of a 2” spacer void any warranty?
Would there be any impact on towing or long term vehicle reliability, or is it just a fuel economy/power impact?
I am new to all of this and appreciate any help I can get.
