I got to see this production FE at Hines Park Ford in New Hudson, MI on Monday 3/29/2021. This Bronco is an actual production vehicle that someone will be able to buy, they had just received it that morning for the event.

This is the second Bronco I've had the chance to sit in, the first was the pre-production rapid red Outer Banks 4 door at Spirit Ford in Dundee, MI on 3/18/2021. I was by myself and I only have one blurry pic, someone else posted really good pics of it and as soon as I find where they are I'll put the link here.

The review: If you're under 6 feet tall and wear skinny jeans this review won't be very helpful, but please enjoy the pictures and feel free to ask questions. I am 6’4", about 350ish pounds, and wear 52 pants(wide load alert, lol).

- It's hard to read because of the glare from the sun but its a stamped plate with "1 OF 7000" on it.

- Shoulder room at the B pillar is tight but not bad on the FE. This is where I noticed a difference from the pre-production Outer Banks, my shoulder was firmly against the B pillar to the point of discomfort. It felt like the production FE had 1/4" to 1/2" more width at my shoulder. I'm hoping this is a non-issue in my 2 door.

- I shoehorned myself into the backseat with the drivers seat still in the all-the-way-back position I had it in. While technically I "fit" it would be cruel to put anyone of size back there for more than 5 or 10 mins. The FEs backseat did feel a little more comfortable than the Outer Banks.

- Getting in or out of the back is not a graceful experience.

- @618TRVLWILD , plenty of room for Stig stickers!

- My wife's a bit camera shy but at 5'6" and in sneakers she had no problem getting in, just one grab handle and a cute little hop. So no immediate need for tube steps when we pick up our BaseSquatch from Granger.

- The corner of the HVAC controls is my biggest concern, my shin/knee was hitting it with the seat adjusted to a "reasonable driving position" (not all the way down). It felt like any off-roading would result in pain. I had the same problem in the Outer Banks, both had the power seats so maybe the manual ones adjust differently. After experiencing the power seats in both Broncos, a 2021 Escape hybrid, and a Bronco Sport, I would not bother optioning them due to poor adjustment characteristics.

- It does look fantastic.

Here's the VIN if anyone can decode it.

- The rims and tires look chunky in pics, in person they look chonky (I couldn't think of a good word so I made one up). The tires did not have the snowflake rated symbol on them.

- Here's some more pics.

Edit: Not a production Bronco.
I am confused by the soft top. Does it retract completely, come off, why is it jacked up like that? I opted for the hard top on the Black Diamond, but I would like a soft top if it is automatic, comes on and off easy and does anybody know about the interior noise?

Can anyone give me the low down on that top? What's it doing? Is the soft top automatically retractable? I opted for hard top on Black Diamond, but if it is an auto retraction (like a convertible), I may change my mind. But, I can't tell from the photos what's up with that op?

The back of the soft top can be lifted up like that to allow access to the cargo area, since the back glass doesn't swing up like on a hard top.

The factory soft top is not automatic.

Great review for the big and tall! Nobody asked, was that left rear seat okay? Damn that looks painful.
It certainly didn't feel good, lol. I'd say for us big guys that it would be for very short trips or emergencies only.

It has "kickstands/prop rods" in the corners so the tailgate can open. I didn't see them open it but it seems like a pain in the butt if you need to access it frequently. I'm glad my 2 door comes with a hard top, the only thing I'll need is a swing out tire carrier so I can use the top hatch without opening the tailgate.

I rented a Chevy Cruz for a trip and my leg would rest against the fan speed knob changing it from time to time. I hope this isn't an issue for me in the Bronco...

Thanks for the write up and pics!
I just posted on this...6'5" here and no issues for me
