I plan to roll around most of the year with just the Bimini top. I'd like to also have the doors off but I'm worried out UV interior damage when my Bronco is parked at work.

First, does the Bimini top provide some UV protection for the interior? If it does, has anyone seen a product for jeeps that rolls down onto the sides to protect the interior when the doors are off?

I'm imagining something that would quickly roll up and strap to the top frame. Hopefully this is already a thing or someone is working on it.

I do get what you’re talking about. But a top cover that stows in the trunk is probably faster to deploy and tear down. It’s unlikely that will cover the lower half of the doors. I’ve not seen what you’re talking about though

Well yes, whatever is shaded won't receive direct UVs, but the light that gets through the mesh top will have UVs. I'm not sure what you're asking or expecting from mesh fabric.

That company that's making clear hard tops might be UV blocking and something to consider.

Here's some very crude photos to give people a better idea. The gray lines represent velcro or button straps that would hold them up.

Yeau, what your asking for does not exist. I would 2nd the above recommendation for the quick car cover. Just pull off and throw in the back when ready to move.

Did you get this cockpit cover yet? Thinking about doing for my 2 door.
I did get it, but haven't removed the top to try it out yet. Its raining today, but the first clear day, I am going to try it out.

If you have the MGV seats, get some 303 Protectant and put on them about once a week. It has UV protection built into it. The only downside to 303 is that it will wash off it gets wet. It is like Armor All with UV protection. Any marine supply will have it.

I ordered one of these to have for protecting it when top/off and sitting still.
Full Vehicle Cover - Soft Cockpit Cover, For 4-Door | Customize Your Ford

That way, everything has some shade when topless+doorless and stationary.
Is this thing fully waterproof or just water resistent. I plan on ordering it so I can leave my top at home when we go to the Jersey Shore, but I don't like how it says, " keep the dust and dew out of the cabin..." I curious if it looks like it will stand up to a full on rain storm?
