Why so much hate about the steelies? They are the closest thing to the early Bronco. Although I guess not everyone wants that look. I do. (However, I plan on eventually painting mine white.)
They look like a spare tire to me...steelies are one thing, these look like spares.

I like the black steelies.. I think they look pretty cool- just not sure if I love them enough to get them

So 2.7 is 1800 but that price includes automatic transmission. This is awesome assuming it's not a mistake on Ford's part
I wondered that too. I've already selected it and printed my price summary. If it is incorrect, Ford should honor it...right!?

You all may already know this but I thought I would pass this along because it explains the auto transmission in the B&P. Basically nobody should order the auto as a stand alone option. Order either the 2.7 engine or the advanced 4x4 and you basically get the auto for “free”. Since I budgeted 1K for advanced 4x4 and it ended up being $795.00 and I budgeted $1,600.00 for auto and it’s free I ended up saving $1,805.00 from my estimate. This post was from Spyderman01...

For those that were curious regarding the pricing of the automatic transmission, I saw this in the order guide.

10-Speed Automatic Transmission (NOTE: Standard on all 4-Door; Standard on all 2-Door with 2.7L Engine; Standard on 2-Door Advanced 4x4 with 2.3L Engine; Optional on 2-Door Standard 4x4 with 2.3L Engine; With 2.3L Engine – Includes Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist; With 2.7L Engine – Includes Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist and Trail One-Pedal Driving) Optional

It’s been two days so hopefully Ford doesn’t change this. Of course given everything else....
I'm really counting on the deal with the auto sticking as its allowed me to move up a trim level. If it changes then I will more than likely either go back to Big Bend or possibly not bother with Sasquatch and just get the upgraded wheels.

Well, here I am in the Black Diamond section. I was going to get the Base Squatch, but after showing my better half a Velocity Blue Base Squatch and an Area 51 BD Squatch, she simply said, "does the Base model come with heated seats?" I said nope. She then said, imagine the Western Slope and your bad back without heated seats.

I am home...

I love em, its a pretty subjective design though, i understand that people may see them and think they are donuts.

Lol! That’s all good to know but I totally agree. In Colorado we need all terrain types so when it snows in July. ?

If any future Black Diamond owners with Mid Package like the orange accents better and want to swap interiors with a Badlands (lux package, MGV) owner in SoCal let me know.

Looking to swap grab handles, AC Vent Clips, Front and Rear Seats, and door pockets.

My reservation is with Eric At Kearny Mesa Ford. Reserved on 7/14
Literally scrolling through this thread for the same reason. Velocity Blue BL here looking for Cyber Orange BD to swap interiors. Located in North Texas. Day 1 reservation. Geez, I feel like I am writing a personal ad or something.

There is not enough pics of the Black Diamond with optional rims! I am sure this option is going to be popular.

DOOD i was looking all over for the trail turn assist on the B&P!! Looked at the sas package cause that's where it was originally said to be tied too and couldnt find it as a stand alone option either. So now we know its with the 2.7 auto, THANK YOU!

That's because they need to be painted white. ?
