Just took these pics. Looks great. The interior is really nice! Def worth going to from base. The tire size looked better than is thought so the 33’s I think will look perfect.

285/70R17 Nitro Ridge grappler! I'm definitely getting a set for my BD! I was a big fan of the Bridgestone Revo 2 but BS stopped making them.
That’s probably what I’ll do too. I’m currently running that size/tire on my Suburban 2500. They have good street manners, they’re great in the snow and have performed very well off-road too. And they look aggressive and wear really well. Great tire!

I was sold on BD until the they decide to eliminate the possibility of 7MT BD with the Mid package. I ordered a 7mt BL because the mid wasn’t available on the 7mt BD. (I guess this was their intention)
I reserved a 7MT BD because I thought I’d be able to get the mid package on it. I’d rather have sport mode and the BD interior over the BL. I think I’m a fairly early reservation at my dealer so I can probably get a 21 but I may hold out and see if the MT mid happens in MY 22.

I have access to a medal fabrication shop!

I grew up 15 Minutes form Buffalo in Crystal Beach Canada! small world!

I don't don't like how the Brush Guard cover the Bronco on the Grill either. How will you modify it? BTW, I was born in Buffalo but I was only there for my first 4 & 1/2 years of life. The next 48 years have been spent in the sunny and humid south where snow doesn't happen much. No need for snow tires here. Although I was taught how to drive in the snow and ice by my parents, I usually try to stay off the roads because people down here have no clue how to navigate in it.

Anyone have any experience on tire swaps some at the dealer. Going from the 265 to the 285 would cost how much more do u think?

Would it be basically the retail price difference in the two sizes or will they add labor or any other fees?

Pretty much retail price unless they give you a sale price. You won’t get hardly anything for the take offs. I suggest getting it done on your own or at least take the 265’s with you & sell them on marketplace.

edit: let me clarify now that I read your comment a 2nd time: you will payFULL price on the 285’s. You might get lucky and get $50 tire credit for your 265s. But if you’re switching them right at the dealer or in the first couple weeks, I would list them on MP for 60-80% cost of new and be happy with the amount you get. It will offset the 285’s cost abit more.

Cactus Grey for my order. Mid package, hard top with rails. Can modify from there. If Generals come standard then I will be changing them to Toyo Open Country AT3s. Have them on my Z71 Tahoe and love them.

I’m planning upgrading tires and wheels, wheels once I take delivery, tires around next Christmas with my profit sharing. Going to use the steelies and grabbers on my overland trailer down the road.

There is some uncertainty with the Black Diamond because despite them being mentioned as standard (and I'm quite sure they are), they are still listed as an optional addition in the Build and Price.
I have seen that to and thought it was another glitch....
I’m with you, I will be shoving that comparison guide and several documents up someone’s forth point of contact! Lol

What wheels are you all thinking about getting for the 285 33''s? I really like the the ones on the Overland concept

Haven't even looked or know what I'm looking at. What are the good brands for this truck?
