Oooooh, I hadn't seen that. The flattop wheel wells look WAY better. This is the first time I've seen something I wish Ford had done differently with the design. I wish I hadn't seen it, because now I can't unsee it.

They look like squared-off flares on the normal fender. Easy add.

For the 4 door, they are available through the parts department. They have many things through FORD Parts Dept that are not on B&P.

That’s the thing...they’re not though. Parts counter only has part numbers for the vinyl garage bags. The on-board/canvas ones don’t have a part number yet and can’t be added to any BD order as of now. Dumb sh*t and also to entice people to move up a rung.

Because Black Diamond buyers think the signature lights look like a dirty whore. The only thing worse is a body color-matched top.

A better question is why don't all Broncos have LED taillights.

I concur. I’m of the camp that likes the standard headlights better, but I do like the signature taillights more.

I was hoping to go in with another two door buddy and buy a set for the 4dr and then realized the 2dr doors wont fit a 4dr bag........

I pulled this from the Build & Price for the Big Bend 4-Door and the Ford Accessories website

1. If you are speaking of the storage bags for the roof sections...they are included in the price/with your BD order. If you are speaking of door bags....because there is no room to carry doors for the 2 door. For the 4 door, they are available through the parts department. They have many things through FORD Parts Dept that are not on B&P.
2. Probably because they want people to order higher packages.

Ah. But makes no sense... I'll take either one. I only wanted front two doors anyway. So the garage bags I believe are sold separately. Save some money. And I will find a way to strap them into the back when I want to lol

I have 2 lingering questions about the Black Diamond I’m hoping to get some insight on:

1. Why aren’t the on-board storage bags shown as an option in the B&P?
I realize this could be a technical glitch with B&P, but it‘s still a problem considering those particular storage bags can only be purchased with the vehicle (at the time of this post). Currently, the only other option is the garage storage bags via Ford Accessories, but those aren’t outfitted for on-board storage...

2. Is there a technical/logistical explanation as to why Signature LED isn’t an option for BD?

Aren't the door bags automatically included whether you ask for them or not? That was my understanding.

The 'onboard' door bags are available on other models as an add-on. The 'garage' storage bags are the ones offered as an accessory which are way more expensive. They are padded. I don't see where the onboard ones are offered as an accessory though.

This is the correct take. Also BB optional upgrade is only for headlights, not tail-lights, so worst of both worlds and if BD had an optional upgrade it'd be the same.
