No way not at all. I installed the BOOMBA then realized for 5 bucks you can do same thing with a rubber chair leg 1” plug. Whenever you go dealer pop plug off and reconnect hose. All it’s doing is recirculating air back into the intake. All this is doing venting to atmosphere. I make sure whenever a jeep had window open I PPPPSSSSHHHHHH in their window because I’m a child!!!

I did the 1" rubber furniture cap plug, too.

I dunno...the ppppssshhh is cute and all, but when the radio is on, I don't hear it.
