I am thinking about getting the Borla touring also. I don't want annoyingly loud, just a nicer deeper sound. Also hoping tucks up more than stock. Like the look of dual. How are you liking and how was install?
here is my original post after install… most of the time I’m not driving the car so get a chance to hear it a lot as it’s driving away and coming back. So I still think it’s the right choice where you aren’t trying to make it sound like a V8 but you want it to be a little deeper sounding. No issues of droning and on the highway you can’t really hear any difference with all the other things that get louder!!

The wife and I installed the Borla attack when our 2 door only had 130 miles on it. It does not drone at all. Sounds deep on start up. Once warmed up it almost sounds stock until you get to about 8psi of boost. Then it sounds great. Freeway cruise you barely notice it. Put your foot in it and it comes alive. I think its perfect.

Installed the Borla ATAK on wife's Badlands 2.7L. Sport mode activated via FORScan, and available at Lethal Performance. Fortunately she really likes it as it was a total surprise to her. I installed it during night while she was sleeping. She wasn't expecting anything unusual as she started it up the next moring while on the phone with a customer, therefore she wasn't fully forcused on the startup and started looking at the drive modes etc thinking she did something wrong. After hanging up with that customer it then dawned on her she had a new Borla exhaust. Makes for a funny story now.

Are you still happy with the Borla ATAK on wife's Badlands 2.7L. ? How is interior sound at highway speed? Has it changed much over time? Thanks for you response!

I have the Borla S-Type axle back dual exhaust for my 2.7L. I love it. I feel it's just the right amount of exhaust sound. I knew the ATAK would be too loud for me, and I was worried the Touring wasn't going to be enough, so settled on the S-Type.

For what it's worth I was pretty happy with just the stock exhaust too. I just wanted more sound, the dual exhaust tips, and I wanted it to be tucked up higher for better rear clearance.
Do you hear any noise in cabin while
talking or music where its annoying?!

No, but if you get on the gas it will start to enter the cab.

Yes, we are still happy with the ATAK, after the first couple hundred miles it may have been slightly louder, but never any drone. On the highway you can hear it, however the OEM GY tire and wind noise around the windshield are far louder.
A year ago I extensively added Dynomat to the cargo area and all four doors along with the additional seals on the roof panels. At first startup it was very noticable the exhaust tone inside the cabin improved in a good way, not any quieter, just no re-verbing from the cargo area therefore a solid clean exhaust note. Even with all the sound deadening the OEM tires and wind noise around the windshield remains the largest source of noise on the highway.
We have 32k miles on her Badlands and the next set of tires will be KO2 or KO3's as I don't have any tire noise in my Bronco Raptor with OEM KO2's or my Wrangler with KO2's or its new KO3's.
