It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but how far below the frame does this sit? It’s looks like it will lose an inch or more of clearance under the transmission.

based on the 4 door version that I currently have installed you will lose an inch or 2 of clearance, and will scrape the skids more than others. But it's full under body protection that I'm okay with hearing scrape. I think @Snacktime actually measured a before/after with his 4 door?

Finally! I've been pestering your poor email for months haha.

My only question, why is everyone omitting protection on the exhaust side? Is there going to be a possible option for that in the future?

Im interested, just when it comes to oil changes, do you have to remove everything or just one part?

You loose the 1" for most of the belly area. And around 2-3" in a few spots. I like that I don't rub my frame, you can take the skids off and there is zero damage.

This design is great for sliding, not avoiding rocks.

My issue is they needed to do more testing, I have wear in making undercloak skids hard to pull and reinstall.

Huge mess with my 2.3, oil goes into the transmission skid area. Going to pack rags everywhere next time.

You need on of those Ronin drain plugs that you can attach a little hose to and clean drain everything.

It's the oil filter, drain plug is free and clear in 30 seconds with an impact.

Ford Bronco Bronco 6G Undercloak Skid Plates, 2-Door by Metalcloak pads

I've used these types of absorbent pads (like you train puppies with or for the incontinent) under oil filters and they work like a charm.

Thats a good question! My bronco was the test mule for this system and the first with the setup. I actually just got my oil changed this last weekend and the shop didn't say anything about it so it must have been not a huge deal. Mine is a 2.7 though.
