True story…

my wife works for one of the most liberal school districts in the area (not saying that’s good or bad), and I was thinking about doing a “SCHL BS” play on words for my license plate. Missouri has a yellow/black themed license plate that aligns with the Gadsden Flag phrase “Don’t Tread On Me”

I’m sure there’s political connotations to it, today, but honestly I liked the history of it, and the aesthetics of the Yellow/Black theme I’ve got going. My wife was nervous about driving it to work because someone would find it offensive. My response:

“You’re already going to drive a large, Cyber Orange, gas-guzzling SUV into a parking lot filled with Priuses. It was already going to be the most offensive thing they see that day…”

Did it garner a laugh? Absolutely! Did I get my way? No. I settled for a conservation themed plate w/a Bluebird…

Yep, I’ve got a 4 & 1 year old.

I will TOTALLY admit that getting the 1-year old in will be a LOT tougher when I put the top back on, because the seat faces the other direction. It would be much easier if there wasn’t two child seats back there, but I didn’t expect to put the other there, at all.

Since we have another SUV, it was going to be the main family hauler. That was the plan until the school would refuse to let kids go home in a vehicle w/out a car seat…

The oldest is obsessed with the Bronco, and I’m fairly certain I heard the 1-year old mutter “Bronco.” Of course, it could have been “taco.” In my defense, she plays with the Maistro Bronco all the time!

Similar boat as you. 5 and 1 year old. I picked up my 5 year old from his first day of school last week in my 1994 Bronco and the teacher said I wish that was my Bronco. The 5 year old loves to ride in it. Can't wait to pick him up in my 6G Bronco whenever that happens.
