Maybe this is my own ignorance, but being from Minnesota and it being winter I see nothing out of the ordinary about the amount of flannel in this picture. I work at an engineering/manufacturing company and pre-Covid on any given day September-March 50%-80% of the engineers would be wearing some form of flannel.
