If memory serves me, 99 is a placeholder to basically suspend a build so it wont get built... so you can go and change the priority code later.

BUT

Those number ranks can be changed on the fly at a moment's notice, and there were some stories of people's numbers adjusting within the first few hours of placing their order.

I would put this in the "curious but not alarming" category.

That is until there is something to get alarmed about.

I had mine purposely classed as a 99 in order to wait for 22. I was more than likely going to be 22 anyway, but if I'm not getting it until after Nov/Dec 21 anyway - I'd rather it be MY22. I know the rarity of the 21 may hold more value down the rod but not the reason I'm buying one.

I didn't ask to be MY22, but I did select some options that are late availability. If that's the case I'm fine with it. I'm just a bit surprised because my dealer said I was one of the lower reservation numbers they had.

i have three late availability items and I got a 19, with a day 2 Res, #38 at dealership.
I think I would ask them about it and see what’s up.

I have almost this exact same build except I got the high package, not lux, and I have a 19 priority code. My dealer also told me that he has 145 orders and I was in the top 40; which probably doesn't mean much. He said that unless I was ordering a Big Bend with soft top and 2.3L then I wouldn't be getting it this year.
