Hi everyone. I decided to post just a few things today from a 2 day showing on May 11th, today, and May 12th at Luther Family Ford in Fargo, North Dakota. This was my one chance to see them up close and I drove two hours to see them.
One was a cactus grey First Edition with a soft top. The other was an Area 51 badlands 2.3 manual with lux package and leather. The badlands was not a Sasquach Package. Both were 4 doors.
First impression is they are very rugged looking and right sized. Basically they are the size that I thought they would be except a little wider and with more ground clearance than I expected from pictures. Getting in them was a step up slightly but not bad. I am 6 feet tall. The back seat has plenty of room front to back but 3 will have a hard time sitting in there unless they are kids because it's somewhat narrow. The power seat has plenty of adjustment. They did confirm that badlands gets Molle panels on the back of the front seats with mgv or leather. I saw that on here before but had to confirm as I am getting a badlands with leather. Also the badlands had crash bars with the 33s and the first edition did not due to the 35s according to the bronco reps.
I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this but the soft tops have plastic corner supports inside the rear corners. Not sure anyone cares but just an observation.
Other than that, nothing new to report other than they look great in person and I can't wait to get mine. The pics are washed out due to the very sunny conditions.
