Bronco Raptor availability upon release

Is anyone else concerned by the rumors that the raptor version might not be released until the 2023 MY? I think Ford really needs to establish its off-road credibility to the general public before they can release those lower trims and less capable trim levels.

Yeah I think that if the bronco proves to beat out the competition in basic or well optioned form then it will blow peoples minds when the raptor comes out flying.

Yeah, this. There will definitely be a Rubicon-esque version at launch to prove off-road credibility. The 'Raptor' will be a step above that, whether for desert running or something else remains to be seen.

That said, while I'm not 'concerned' per se that it won't be available until '23...that's gonna be a looong wait.

My game plan at this point is to pay off my VW in the next year or two, sell my diesel Pajero, buy your a PajEvo when you get a Bronco Raptor, and then shortly after that replace my ZJ with a Rubicon-equivalent Bronco - I can't import a PajEvo until 2022 or so, so what's another year.

I always thought I would get a halo Mustang (GT500) yet here I am salivating over the Bronco hahah.

My 2011 5.0 still puts a huge smile on my face when I drive it. And I have a beater 2002 F-150 that is solid for home projects or helping friends and fam. I want the bronco for the ultimate cool people hauler/future family vehicle. And is the world goes off the deep end sooner than later having something that has off road chops

That would be cool through ford racing as a kit. Kinda like the demon track kit. Comes with coolers, arms, fox's, and giant fender flares. Maybe a couple of HD link ends and a engine power pack? Buy whatever model you want and throw the kit at it.

I was pretty much assuming this to be the case if such a thing were to exist. It's what Ford has always done before with most other models like the F150 Raptor or Mustang. No reason to think Bronco would be different.

They need some suckers to buy one then get the Raptor a year or two later.
