I picked up the black metal ones from Toms off-road. Great quality but they do have the pegs. Used a bolt/nail cutter to remove the pegs then a Dremel to sand them down further then stuck them on with 3m emblem tape.

Here's a few. Thinking now that this option might be a little more challenging for those without a wrap. You'd have to figure out how to mount the metal on metal without scratching.

similar but side note I have now see several script emblems in pictures and a handful in person. Im wondering why so many people get them on crooked or slanted. A few I have seen I would have been embarrassed to drive the thing.

I've been trying to diagnose this as well. I think there's some incorrect assumptions being made when it's time to measure. I'm guessing people are measuring to the B and the o. The bottom of the B and the bottom of the o are not a straight line. Measure to the r and the o; let the B come along for the ride. I'd try this on cardboard to be certain I'm right.

Oh and fyi, the ones I found say they have pins on the back for a drilled install. You’ll probably have to modify them like I’m planning to.

That’s what I did. Ordered black chrome badges from Tom’s Off-road dot com, ground the pins off, filled the cavity with epoxy, made a template to alight off the door edge and fender line, mounted with 3M moulding tape. Took some effort but way nicer than the plastic stick-ons I bought originally. Worth the effort.
