Great looking vehicle!Adding to the thread - I picked up a set of refurb '66 sport emblems, added a little elbow grease and swear words, some 3M mold tape and this was the result. I think the satin black looks perfect over the white!
Looks good! I plan on doing the same to mine (when I get it). Where did you get the 3M that large?Adding to the thread - I picked up a set of refurb '66 sport emblems, added a little elbow grease and swear words, some 3M mold tape and this was the result. I think the satin black looks perfect over the white!
I used a dremel tool to chop the pins and some 240 grit to grind a good even contact surface the mold tape could adhere toLooks good! I plan on doing the same to mine (when I get it). How did you get the clips off?
It was 7/8" mold tape, i just covered the entire emblem back with long strips and trimmed down the edges with an exacto blade. It was a bit more work than the ready to go stick on emblems they sell online, but I'm real happy with the resultWhere did you get the 3M that large?

How did you paint the orange on the sides? Seems like a tedious job.I have had the "Bronco Depot USA" version of them on my Badlands for about a month, used the handy template and they do/did look good, but both ends are starting to pry up because the fender is slightly curved and the plastic emblem is not having it. (I hand wash and have a gentle touch so I didn't do it, obvious design flaw lol) Gonna have to look for something different soon. $100 up in smoke. Haven't contacted them about it yet, so that part is my fault.
He didn't, Bronco Depot made them that way, but Bronco Depot doesn't exist anymore. How did you paint the orange on the sides? Seems like a tedious job.
