Very quiet ride even with the 33” BFG’s.

How do you like the 33" BFG's? how wide did you go on the 33'S?

I would call them adequate. Almost good enough. Good highway (ithink they'll be good on road snow), good dry moderate off road. I like a 255 or 265 width, for chains off road. A little more aggressive for wet off road and taller and tougher for rocks would be better. I'll go with 255 80 17 toys or Falken ats at some point.

fortunate to have been able to finally get my 2 dr BL on the 16th. It was worth the wait. First mod is window tint on the front door glass, then undercoating and rust proofing. Going to add fogs, remove the rear seats, attach canoe brackets on the crossbars, and eventually a front mounted winch. Waiting on someone to build a decent winch mount plate that workks on the front modular bumper.

I just changed my build to A51 BL 2 Dr, nice to finally see one! Please post some pics with tint when you get it done.

B-but the wiring Hippyman...the wiring. Anything out of the norm besides a simple disconnect? Looking to fill the recess area with inverter/deep cycle battery bank.

They are 11.2” wide.
Tire size dot com: “The 285/70R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 has a diameter of 32.7", a width of 11.5"

No lift, no rubbing, and the spare mount can support the size without an upgrade.

Personally, I prefer the tires not protruding, past the width of the vehicle. I like the look of old school Baja racers.
I, personally, do not like the “roller-skate” look of overly wide tires.

I have been looking at this size tire as well, just a little taller and wider plus much better traction.
