Finally installed my broncbuster rear shock skids. I’m a little concerned and curious. Since it’s using the main 27mm shock bolt, we are losing a bunch of treads with the thick skid.

For anyone that has these installed, do you have gaps between the skid and bottom bracket/bolt or does it look like the bolt bends the skid to zip in enough ( used a Milwaukee impact )

I have the first iteration of these so I’m curious

Looks to me like the skid is too wide and thus the bend in the sides.
Yep, but should still be ok as by the looks of it you got enough torque on it with your Milwaukee. Definitely keep an eye on it. I would also reach out to Tyler (Broncbuster) about it.

Mine were the same. I just sent it home with the impact. That’s a big old bolt and I gave it several ugga dugga’s

Mine did the same, even if the skid was tighter fitting there is a recess around the bolt so no matter what it will compress in.
