He gives you a parts list and the links to sites that will compile and ship everything. Sorting all of the pieces (1100) took forever, but was worth it.

Are the prices shown on the chart the estimated cost for the parts? My kid knows all the LEGO parts sites, so that’s fine. But then, how much for the instructions and parts list?

I believe the prices under the colors are the estimated parts prices. In all, I spent about $200 to complete mine, including buying the plans.
