So another $2,000 increase since the last time I build my Bronco and I still can't order it.

You guys think we will ever hit a recession/depression where Ford will put cash on the hood and we will be able to buy the Bronco at a major discount or are we heading towards a $50,000 base 4 door soft top in a couple of years?

People are saying that $1,200 extra for hardtop is no big deal, I disagree and it's the principle that counts. And also it's the $700 Sasquatch increase plus the increases from last year.

All I really care about is that rear locker so not sure if I should just get a base or not. I've been doing research on rear lockers over at the Wrangler forums but from my understanding the Jeep has sort of a fake rear locker where it uses the brake system to get out of tricky situations, something that the Bronco doesn't have.

And over at the Yota forums? They have something called A-TRAC.

What does the Bronco have?

For those of you that own an automatic Bronco, can you do me a favor? Try getting the rear to get stuck and then hit the "turn assist" button so that one of the wheels will lock up and then turn the steering wheel and apply some throttle. Does that work as a fake locker?

If you lock one rear tire will the Bronco that send power to the other rear wheel when you turn the wheel? I haven't read anything about that on here so it might be a good experiment to try out.

It's all relative. I was at the grocery store yesterday and noticed Thumann's hotdogs are now $10 for a 1 pound package. And there's no residual value after you use your hotdogs.
Those must be some “ high cotton” hot dogs.

You definitely do not want electronics trying to get you unstuck! I have seen those toyota systems cause getting stuck when they overthink and do stupid stuff. You can see it all the time on Matt's Offroad recovery. The most important feature is always the driver.

My same build; 2022 versus 2023 is up $6,640. Those A/C temp dials sure are very expensive...

They are trying to price people out, and they will. Maximize profit while not having their order banks explode in the mean time. People are going to start looking at alternatives or just pass on them altogether.

With the major increases on everything, not just unnecessary luxury items, I don’t know how people are doing it. The prices of literally almost everything has doubled.

Sorry to everyone dealing with these increases.

This thread is making me feel like the long wait and all the BS Ford pulled over the past few years was worth it for Grangetober reservation holders. I feel like I'm stealing my 2 door Badlands at $4500 below 2021 invoice factoring in the $2500 modification offer.
