I regret so badly that I did not upgrade to the mod bumper. I think it looks fantastic.
Give it a couple of years, they will spring up from people doing mods. I think (?) they can be put on a Bronco that did not originally ship with one?

Just my 2 cents, after declining the MOD bumper, and cross shopping the aftermarket, the factory steel MOD bumper and full skids and side rails are some of the best value, even before installation hassle/costs

Everything aftermarket I’ve seen that is as nice or nicer than factory is much more expensive, that will change if you can wait, we’ve done a lot of wait!

I love the look of the mod bumper right from the factory. Wish the rear was steel as well.

Switch to mod bumper. Aux switches and mod bumper are deals.

I’ve watched many videos with people nosing in their lifted Broncos with aftermarket bumpers, while non lifted Broncos with the Mod Bumper push right thru. After seeing that, I’m convinced that Ford has a great factory option for approach angles.
Thank you for this.
I've noticed the same, but didn't want to start a debate.

So many comments here going against OP's statement that he does not want or will ever use a winch ..... he just wants a steel bumper for cripes sake.

I cannot see how you could go wrong with a factory Mod bumper at that point.

That's what I'm waiting for. I'd be happy if I could score one for $1000 or less.

Long story short: dealer told us that the standard Wildtrak bumper was steel. Come to find out it is plastic. Our order has been in the queue for a few months now so still able to change it. We do not plan to utilize the modular capabilities, do not need winch, but would rather not have a plastic bumper. Any advice? After market, etc?

And while we are at it, if we do submit for changes to our order, any word on if the tow package is actually a constraint right now?
Was told this past Monday by my dealer that tow package is now pushing orders 20 weeks behind. 🤷‍♂️

Tow is the big constraint right now. Bumpers, not so much.
