There's probably a Bronco5g or 4g or maybe even 3g forum to help you out with that choice! I'm happy to spend my 60k on something I'll be DD'ing, although if it was purely a toy I can see your point.

There is a beautiful Bronco4G across town from me for 10k. If I was single I'd already be over there buying it. But my wife believes in things like "airbags" and "convenience" and not trusting a 30+ year old car to be "a reliable daily driver". She puts up with enough of my crap already so I'd better not.

To me, The 6g is hands down the option that encompasses moderne tech and drivability (presumed) with just enough retro hints to steer me this was.

that and not having $xxx,xxx for an Icon Bronco or resto-rod.

if I hit the lotto Jack pot ask me if I still agree.

Driving a vintage car outside of car shows/parades/show off drive isn't all it's cracked up to be. I have no interest in doing it again.

Then it comes down to big block or diesel...

I daily my Ranger from time to time, I just knocked it in the head to install sliders over the weekend (need to drop the fuel tank) but before that It was my dd for a solid 3 weeks after the snow went away. I quite enjoy it actually.

I guess that's true if using the second definition that means "old". However, in cars, the definition: "of the best and most characteristic" is normally understood. A '76 Vega is not
"Vintage", it is just old. Same with FSB's...as the best and most characterstics are Gen1s. FSB's are cool, but not classics by any measure like the original. They are just "old".

I love vintage cars/trucks, but getting back into one, after driving something current, is quite a shock. My son and I searched two years ago for a 4/5G Bronco. It brought back memories, but it didn't make me think, boy, have new vehicles gotten worse :unsure: I still ride a 1998 DR350 with a carb and 6 speed and love it, but if I were driving it as my primary transportation? Give me an Honda Africa Twin with ABS and DCT or a Yamaha Tenere with at least Fuel Injection ABS. We all have our preferences!
