Thanks to posts here, including a “How to do it” video, I ordered a Ford OEM cabin air filter and changed it out today. I live in Houston, so I did not give it a lot of thought. Not a lot of dirt flying around here.
When I removed to old filter, I was pretty surprised about how much dirt was on it. I did run dusty trails out in Big Bend Ranch State Park after I broke out my rear window, but I was not expecting the debris that was on the original filter @ 20,000 miles.
