Can ForScan add AutoHold to my Base?

My last ride had AutoHold and I miss it.
Can ForScan be used to add it to my Base?

What is auto hold?

You know how us manual transmission folk can casually sit at a stop light without holding the brake as long as we hold in the clutch pedal or switch to neutral??

Auto hold is like that, except for automatics. It automatically applies the brake and keeps it applied until you press the gas pedal again. Could they just switch it to neutral?? Probably… but instead they get a computer to hold the brake for them.

Could they just switch it to neutral?? Probably…

but then I feel like I'm posing as a manual, and we wouldn't want to get caught doing something like that

This is a screenshot from the thread I found (I send it to my phone so I have the steps to follow on Forscan)

Then make sure you force the TCM and PCM to relearn and do the reset of the DTC, then you should not have any error messages (see post #10):
