I wanted to convert my aug 2021 order , 2 door base, soft top, non squatch - i was told i couldnt - anyone hearing the same thing?

Can I still convert my MY21 reservation to an order? (Base 2 door, non squatch)
First there is no soft-top two-door. Second, if its an August 2021 reservation, the dealer likely just doesn't want to waste his or your time, there is no way that's going to make it on the 2021 MY. The 2022 order banks open in 2 weeks, you'll be able to order your 2023 model then (I'm joking but there's a good chance you won't even get a 2022 with that late of a reservation, depending on the constraints that come around this year)

No dude… i got an FE in July, 4door… i want to get a base 2dr manual and build it out. I reserved but not allowed to convert it. Wasnt urgent, i waited too long.

Yeah, thats why i was asking on here - my dealer told me no, and everyone on here made it seem like i was out of my mind for even thinking it. Sucks
