For a Bronco 37s are the practical limit without serious mods…but to answer your question no, off road the bigger the better…of course the drivetrain and suspension need to be designed to handle them…on the road smaller is better (talking bronco), of course there are multiple better choices for on road use than a Bronco…but looks are in the eye of the beholder (or the group ya idenify/hang with)…

Seen you around New B.
I think.
Since my in-laws moved from there I haven't had the Bronc out there but we are out in Boerne.

Bigger wheel tire combos equal higher ground clearance. But as others have said, bigger tires/wheels also means plenty of expenses for the other upgrades you will need. Suspension, arms brakes also the bigger and wider you go the worse your MPG. Also going from32ā€ to say a 35ā€ will not give you 3 additional inches of ground clearance, I believe closer to 1-1 1/2ā€

Sometimes it seems like folks are trying to fit bigger and bigger tires on their rig. Seems legit, but is there a point where they're so big that it makes the vehicle look ridiculous? I know that you need to upgrade steering/suspension components too, but I also wonder if there's a point where there's no longer any real benefit to doing so.

Any thoughts from the forum?
Anything more than 35s look too big since they aren’t concentric with the fenders.

The tires on our airplanes are 52x25.5. They weigh almost 500 lbs, so they're really fun to change.

Likewise, my buddy has 40s on his Taco. He doesn't carry a spare because he can't change tires by himself.

35s on a 4-door, 33s on a 2-door, that's what looks perfect.

Too me 35s on a 2 door and 37s on a 4 door look the best. Sasquatch package is a must. Small tires on these big square bodies just dont look right. The 4 door especially ends up almost looking like a Ford Flex. IMO.

In his defense the likelihood of actually flatting a modern 40ā€ M/T or similar in a way you can’t just plug it is extremely low..

For sure! Non-sas 4 doors look sooooo goofy.. and on the stock SAS 34.2’s they still don’t look right. I couldn’t get them off fast enough

All Broncos should just come standard with the Sasquatch package. Especially with the new inflated prices Ford is charging.

I tend to disagree somewhat in that if you plan to replace coilovers, wheels/tires, etc then one could find better value in buying a non-SAS Badlands so that it comes w/ the appropriate axles and such but aren’t buying everything else twice. None of the other Sasquatch stuff is that great (IMO) other than the late ā€˜22 and 23 Wildtrak’s that have the 3.0 steering rack. Mine started life as a wildtrak but doesn’t much resemble it anymore.. If you’re never planning on upgrading anything then yeah, don’t skip SAS-day
