base model. Added BD wheels powder coated body color with BFG 285/75/17
Looks great! maybe a touch lighter gray than mine? how did you get them to match the Carb Gray did they custom mix powdercoating? I didn't know that was an option

Weston Grey from Prismatic powder is a match to Carbonized Grey. I got several samples from them and matched it up.

Better late than never- ended up going with forged charcoal and clear coat

Thanks for posting this. I have an EG base 2 door and have been talking to a powder coater about painting my steelies like this but could not visualize what it would look like. Think I will go for it now.

Your welcome! I can't believe I had not seen any examples of this either. I like to think I'm original... The color looks awesome with EG, and I like how it matches the top. Its a good homage to the original without trying to look too retro.

PS that wooly bugger color combo is hands down most producing pattern of all time - great minds think alike!

Its true, I have been thinking about powder coating carb gray for 2 months but could not find anything close until I saw your post and I like it. Good job!

Yeah, olive or black wooly is simple but effective and I like simple LOL..

Thanks but I misunderstood. I'm actually looking for the color/finish for the Modular bumper, some sort of textured gray. I've reached out to Prismatic Powders to see if they know the color. Lots of accessory manufacturers are matching that color so I thought they might know.
