The hump is a few inches but not deep enough to make a drawer out of it.

The slide out tray from Ford will even out the height however.

I’m hoping for a slide-out storage drawer that will be flush with the rear seats when they’re folded flat. This would make it a smooth(ish) surface to lay a camping pad or mattress on.

Has anyone come across any installation documents, or better yet, video, showcasing this accessory from Ford? Something I’m interested in but can’t really see the inside. Ford claims you can still easily access the in-floor tire jack/storage area and curious how that’s possible. Also claims it attaches to the tie-down rings already in the vehicle.

I used this tiles from harbor freight for a similar application. They are holding up well and are non-slippery.
