Chasing a U2 spy plane in a Bronco

The U2 is cool as long as you are not flying it. The cockpit of the that thing is the most uncomfortable place on earth. I would much rather be seated in the bronco. Also fun fact some locations have much cooler cars that (ex. Mitsu Evo) as the chase car. The big thing is the car has to be automatic.

They used 5.0 Mustang GTs in the late 80s and early 90s. If you can find an SSP Mustang that is non-restored, it will have all of the AF markings under the hood for coolant and oil. Those Mustangs were just like State Patrol vehicles in many states.

They always use roofless vehicles to do this in case somebody needs to stand up and grab the plane to help it land. The Airmen will stick his entire body out of the roof and the other passengers will hold him by the trousers, sometimes during strong winds they will have to use more force to hold him in the vehicle and will secure him by pulling his legs, the same way I'm pulling yours. gotem.

’21 Broncos were being used to drive performers around at the country’s biggest Airshow in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Brings thousands of planes in and hundreds of thousands of people. In this instance they used a bronco to assist the U2 in a simulated landing after it preformed some low passes of the field for the crowd.
